Since Punjab enjoys a decisive majority within the federation of Pakistan, the taking over of Punjab by these Militant groups means taking over of Pakistan
The conglomeration of civil bureaucracy and military (establishment)being Punjabi dominated gives easy sailing for these extremist forces
By cutting down Punjab’s decisive majority we will be able to check these forces, which will ultimately strenghten the integrative forces in the federation
The fact that Punjab has to look after the common people of Pakistan is not just by providing shelters and food only but by equal power distribution and sharing system within the federation

In the then East Pakistan, the Punjabi bureaucrats in collusion with the main establishment dominated by Muslim migrants from UP & Bihar in India played the sinister role of alienating common masses of Punjab from people of other regions in Pakistan. A legacy which is still being carried forward although the Punjabi dominance has mostly been of exclusive type now after the Mohajirs preferred to confine their politics and role in bureaucracy to Karachi only.

Otherwise AA has done a wonderful assessment of the situation. Once the Punjabi politicians as well as the bureaucrats recognize the fact that they have to look after the common people of Pakistan, whether from Punjab itself, Sindh, NWFP or Balochistan, Punjab’s contribution and image will be restored.
