I woke up this morning steeling myself for a grim kind of day: It’s Benazir Bhutto’s 5th death anniversary, and the mourning had already started since last night. We have all keenly felt her loss, and nobody loved her more than the people of Sindh, from where she came. “I am the daughter of the Indus, the daughter of Taxila, the heir of this 5000 year old civilisation” was a quote that I was seeing on Twitter to remind us of the legacy of this remarkable woman.

It is a master piece of the Author. This is particularly seems to be a mindset of the Karachiites who think that the feudals of interior Sindh are demigods. However, the stark reality depicts that there is an ethnic group which keeps the lives of the people of this city at standstill. Ironically, this is the same group which is involved in a heinous crime of killings of innocent people. Its not done in the defense of the killers but to those who portray a biased picture of reality.
