What does this Sindhi nationalist rhetoric have to do with the celebration of a great poet???

honestly can’t I find one article here on Sindhi culture that does not advocate the weakening of Pakistan and this imaginary ‘Sindhu nation’?!

“It is the birth right of Sindhis to demand adherence to the 1940 resolution. It was only because of the promises made in that resolution that Sindhis joined Pakistan. Although Sindhis sometimes face criticism for demanding autonomy of their province on the basis of 1940 resolution, they should be clear and confident about this demand. Sindhis should get this fact accepted that they have the rights over their homeland, its resources, its political decisions, jobs, language, and cities.”

First of all,Sindh joined Pakistan due to Muslim nationalism.Second of all STOP GENERALIZING!not all Sindhis have these demands and they include me!Thirdly,Sindhis DO have rights over their homeland as most of Sindh’s ministers and the cheif minister are always Sindhi…although bad ones…they also have rights over all of Pakistan,like all Pakistanis do,and are not treated as inferiors(like G.M Syed tried to portray)as proven by 11 Sindhi prime ministers andpresidents,includong the current ruler of Pakistan Zardari.

The Pakistan resolution was drafted when people did not know what shape Pakistan was going to have.it could have very well been more than three non-connected states that would require that level of autonomy to survive due to their geographical positions.Sindh acceded to Pakistan in 1947…well after Jinnah had already made a statement that he wanted a federation like Canada or Australia in 1945.it was clear he did not want an invalid central government permanently on the verge of collapse as demanded by Sindhi nationalists who have proven time after time that they don’t really care about Sindh!
