CM Sindh sends Sassui Palejo home

SINDH- KARACHI: Sassui Palejo has been removed from the Sindh Cabinet as minister for culture, Geo News reported.

Chief Minster Sindh, Qaim Ali Shah, taking action against her walkout from the provincial cabinet meeting, finally issued a notification putting an end to her days as the minister for culture.

Earlier, talking to mediamen at Raza Rabbani’s house, CM Qaim Ali Shah had said, “Sassui breached the decorum of the cabinet meeting, which leaves us with no choice than to strip her of her portfolio for the time being.”

The Chief Minister said that Palijo had interrupted his speech before walking out of the meeting.

“She will have to explain as to what prompted her to commit the contempt of the cabinet,” he said.
