Right before I left the islands, I had the pleasure of meeting up with Reese again to go on another photo outing!
This time we decided to capture the sunset in Waikiki.
Haha, okay, I know these aren’t sunset related, but these ducks were one of the first things we saw.
I’d have to say that taking pictures of animals is actually one of my favorites because they’re so unpredictable and [usually] freaking adorable~!
While we were waiting for the sun to get a little lower in the sky, we stopped in Kapiolani Park to take a few back lit shots of each other.
Before we knew it, the sun started to go down behind the buildings to we headed back over to the beach.
Here’s some experiments with editing in Lightroom:
Oh look a dog! Didn’t I tell you I liked taking pictures of animals?
No edits for these last few, just some cropping for some~
Lucky we live Hawaii
Thanks for looking!
Looking through some of my old photos (especially with the D90), and I came across this one and decided to re-share it.
So my friend bought this small and really really cute tea set for her music video project back in February.
I thought it was super adorable, so I decided to mess around with it using some lasers and a flashlight.
I thought this one came out pretty good. I especially like how the cup in the front came out.
Messing around with lights and slow shutter speeds are a lot of fun!
*Small touch-ups in photoshop.
]]>Nikon!? Blasphemy! Haha. Over 2 months ago I met up with Reese (before I got my Canon Rebel T3) and he let me use his Nikon D300! I finally got the pictures I took back from him, and I came across this one. I like how the colors came out and how the lighting is and helps make everything look nice and soft.
As much as I hate bees, and they kinda freak me out sometimes, I appreciate what they do for the flowers, and couldn’t resist to take this picture of it. A little cliche’ but I still like it :3
Crazy how time flies though, huh.
