Several towns of Sindh observing strike

KARACHI-SINDH: Several towns of Sindh Monday went on a strike on the call of Jeay Sindh Qaumi Mahaz (JSQM) in protest against the FIR of its former chairman Bashir Ahmad Quraishi’s murder not being registered besides the Local Bodies Ordinance, Geo News reported.

Complete shutter down is being observed in Tando Mohammad Khan, while traffic on the roads is thin. Dadu, Khairpur, Jamshoro and Mirpurkhas are also on strike, as the shops are closed and the roads giving a deserted look.

Sindh University, Mehran University and Liaquat Medical University in Jamshoro besides all the educational institutions have joined the strike call, as the classes remained suspended. …
