14th Medicare 2025 International Healthcare Exhibition culminates with success.

The 14th edition of Medicare International Healthcare Exhibition 2025 culminated at the BMICH in Colombo after a successful run of three days on Sunday, March 2.

Medicare 2025, Sri Lanka’s premier healthcare exhibition, dedicated to educating the public and showcasing the latest advancements in healthcare, medical technology, wellness, and medical tourism, commenced on Friday, February 28, featuring over 150 stalls from local and international exhibitors.

With a strong reputation built over a decade, the 14th edition of Medicare brought together top healthcare industry leaders healthcare professionals and providers, industry experts, and key stakeholders to promote innovative healthcare solutions and foster collaborations.

The primary objective of Medicare 2025 was to provide the public with vital health-related information, while showcasing cutting-edge healthcare technologies, advancements in disease prevention, innovative treatment methods, and the exceptional services offered by hospitals and laboratories.

“I was made to aware that the Medicare exhibition covered five important aspects related to the healthcare sector, and it was important to educate the public on how the entire process is done. As the people’s government, we are also exploring the possibilities of promoting Sri Lanka as a healthcare hub through medical tourism, and Medicare 2025 was the ideal platform to bring awareness of that aspect,” noted Dr. Nalinda Jayatissa, Hon. Minister of Health and Mass Media.

Among key segments of Medicare 2025 featured were National Healthcare and Medical Education Expo, Nirogya – International Ayurveda and Herbal Expo, Healthy Living Expo, Medical Equipment and Pharma Expo and Medical Tourism Expo.

In addition the Medicare General Public Seminar Programme, designed to educate and empower the public with essential health knowledge, was well attended by interested parties.

This year, the Specialised Seminar Programme featured top medical specialists, researchers, and industry experts discussing crucial health topics that impact daily life, providing valuable insights, practical guidance, and expert advice to help individuals make informed health decisions.

Dr. Amal Harsha de Silva, the Chairperson of Medicare International Healthcare Exhibition 2025 Organising Committee, commended the valued commitment of sponsors and partners of Medicare 2025, in helping the three-day gala exhibition achieve another successful end. Medicare International Healthcare Exhibition 2025 was organised by Asia Wellness Forum, in collaboration with Aitken Spence Conventions & Exhibitions.

“We had all the giants in the local medical field at Medicare 2025, which was overwhelming factor for the success of Medicare 2025. As medical personals, we are busy with our professional commitments. Medicare was a great platform to showpiece and create access for all to witness how the healthcare sector is operated and, more importantly for the goods and service providers to display their facilities during the three days,” stated Dr. Amal Harsha de Silva, Chairperson, Medicare 2025.
