Here is a real test of everyone on the left, right, center, in the government, in opposition, in judiciary, members of civil society, men in black, human rights advocates, and Pakistani Diaspora. Either you are against this kind of madness or you are part of it. There is no high road to heaven.
Very soon all those who are undecided or they are on the periphery of this issue will be forced into retirements. When the battle between Millat and Umma heats up the lines will be drawn in the sand. We just can’t stick to our wish lists. These guys are forcing people of Pakistan to choose between Pakistan zinda abad and Islam zinda abad.


Tired of this, some stake owners in Pakistan may exercise a third option. Sindh and Balochistan may decide not to remain part of Taliban Pakistan.

Supreme Court, High courts non-Shariah institutions: Maulana Sufi Mohammad
MANGORA: Chief of banned TNSM, Sufi Muhammad has said Supreme Court (SC) and High Court (HC) are non Shariah institutions and it is prohibited to file appeal before them as per Shariah.
TNSM chief said this while addressing a huge public meeting in grassy ground here Sunday.
He went on to say laws in place in Pakistan were un-Islamic and democracy was also us-Islamic. Pakistan was a Muslim country but non-Muslim judges were also appointed in the courts of Pakistan.
Those would be appointed as Qazi who would be independent and be well conversant with Islamic jurisprudence, he remarked. Decisions of Qazi would be challenged only in Darul Qaza, he added. It would be prohibited to challenge them in superior courts by way of Shariah, he underlined.
NWFP government had provided evidence of their love for Islam and taken practical measures for enforcement of Shariah, he maintained.
One month deadline had been given to the incumbent government that Qazi be appointed in 7 districts of Kohistan and Darul Qaza be set up by April, 23, he indicated.
Peace would prevail in Malakand with the enforcement of Shariah therein, he hoped. Police should be fully empowered under Nizam-e-Adl, he demanded. The effects of Nifaz-e-Shariah would be felt in all the four provinces of the country, he observed.
Muslims were split up in different parties, he regretted. Masses, rulers and Ulema should get united now, he appealed. The prevalent system was in conflict with Quran and Sunnah, he warned.
