The corrupt bureaucrats and law enforcers of our great country who do everything but enforce the law of the land, the Rogue Police of India.

It’s time we citizens, come together and put a check on this plague engulfing our entire law and order system. It’s time we pooled our resources in whatever way we can.

Resident books cops!

It is the power of one that has brought embarrassment to the entire police force. Indur Chhugani, a resident of Khar, has extracted a High Court order that has sought action against the all the police outposts that have come up in various corners of Mumbai without any permission.

The Bombay on Friday warned the state that it would order demolition of all 269 illegal police chowkies within seven days if the police failed to take its previous order to pull down the structures seriously. high court

( P.L.E.A.D. had moved the PIL Writ Petition at the Mumbai High Court for demolition of these chowkies, as these were sponsored by anti-social elements, mostly pimps in the flesh trade. After they became known in the area as Chowky sponsorers, these people, struck deals, between the police and those who wanted to misuse the police authority, either to escape from some illegality committed or to get some business rival or some other person framed by the police.

 

And the police were a happy lot … this happens in every city and town of India )

Chowkies on footpath to be razed first


Mumbai: The Mumbai police on Friday admitted before the Bombay high court that 137 of its chowkies were built unauthorisedly on pavements and roadsides These structures will be the first of the 279 illegal chowkies in the city that will be demolished.
