I think honestly this is my favorite part of the process… except for the fact that each photo paper costs $1 each >__<
But anyways.
Today I spent a total of about 2 hours in the darkroom.
This first picture is of the test strip that I made. This was after a lot of testing with making my contact sheet (which didn’t come out too great). I made a lot of mistakes here and there, which resulted in me having to throw away paper (refer to the beginning of this post)… BUT! Eventually I got a cool print that I liked.
However.. that’s just one outta two that I did today xD Still lots to improve on [mostly with my original film]
I’ll probably be shooting another roll to develop and work with.
Even though I'm a digital shooter, I still miss those darkroom days! There's a certain quality of peace that you get if you're alone in the darkroom, watching your print come alive before your eyes. It's magic 🙂
