Back in 2016, I inquired to participate in my very first pop-up art show in downtown San Diego, created a couple pieces, and put them up for sale. On the night of the show, I showed up at the venue only to discover that not one, but BOTH pieces SOLD. Since then I have participated in several shows curated by different local galleries with varying themes. These shows give me the opportunity to put myself out there, meet a lot of other local artists, and challenge myself creatively outside of my day job.
