Paper Animation

the paper… the mess

I’m like.. super tired.
I stayed up late last night working on my paper animation that’s due tomorrow.
Haha, sadly I think I could have gotten it done a lot faster, but I took huge breaks between the scenes that I did because I had to think about what to cut out next and how to move the paper around.

Here’s a preview of the main character (Panda Z)

In the process of working on this project, I watched several movies and shows on my laptop thanks to a free month trial on Netflix.. and a little YouTube. Haha.
No seriously, I watched A LOT.

  • Skins (the UK version)
  • Hey Arnold
  • Arthur
  • Land Before Time V
  • Exit Through the Gift Shop
  • Mulan
  • Mulan II
  • Wallace & Gromit: A Matter of Loaf and Death
  • Pocahontas

Haha, don’t you like the array of movies? Ok, well, most of them fall into the animation category… and in the kids category… BUT, that’s just who I am. I wasn’t in the mood for a hard-mind-blowing film last night. I just needed something light.
Exit Through the Gift Shop was really good! Very interesting/engaging through out the entire documentary. I think it’s interesting to both artists and non artists. The part where they plant a mini installation in Disneyland was pretty mind-blowing. Anyways, I don’t want to spoil it for anyone, so I’ll stop now.
Watch it!!! If you didn’t already… So good!

Well, that’s all for now.
I’m going to put my frames together for my animation tonight… and most likely get it posted tonight.
Also, it appears that Eugene is going to bless us with wonderful weather this week, so hopefully I can get some nice photos for my photography class.

Thanks for reading!
