Misconception about Fat/ Oil

There is a misconception that low fat diets prevent us from heart disease. But the truth is that the low fat diets have not help people to lose weight and prevent from cardiovascular disease. The major culprit of obesity/over weight are refined carbohydrates (Sugar, cake, potato, rice, soda pop, bread/Roti or flour products).

Fats have always been a part of human life. Fats and oils are technically known as Lipids. Without them, we could not survive. Four vitamins – A, D, E and K are fat- soluble vitamins. Our brain is also fat. Therefore, the moderate amount of fat is good for health. Especially, Coconut oil is good for health. Omega-3 oil also promotes the health. Moderate amount of Coconut oil is good and it supports the healthy heart.
