Opinion- Sindhis should support restoration of judiciary including deposed chief justice of SCoP, justice Iftikhar

I suggest that people of Sindh (Sindhis) must support Long March meant to restore judiciary including chief justice of supreme court of Pakistan (SCoP) Justice Chaudhry Iftikhar. Justice Chaudhry Iftikhar had took more than 5,500 suo moto actions including of missing Dr Safdar Sarki. I remember when I was in El-Campo, TX, I created a special website for Dr Safdar Sarki. On behalf of his family members, I made correspondence to Ms Benazir Bhutto Shaheed, Chairperson, PPP and other political parties. Only BB replied and strongly supported the release of Dr Sarki despite she was heading separate political party She strongly raised the issue of Dr sarki about 8/10 times at different occasions and assured all support to the family members of Dr Sarki.

On belf of family members of Dr Sarki, I wrote a detailed letter in daily Dawn from USA giving the complete details of missing of Dr Sarki and sent 15 copies of the press clippings to each justice of the supreme court of Pakistan including chief justice in Islamabad seperately requesting them to take suo moto action. It was Justice Chaudhry Iftikhar who took suo moto action on the press clipping sent by me to him. Later, Govt was compelled to declare formal arrest of Dr Sarki.

There were so many examples that while reading Sindhi dailies, he took suo moto actions. In Jacobabad district three minor Sindhi girls were given in fine. Justice Chaudhry watched the news on Sindhi TV KTN, he took suo moto action and all three minor girls along with their parents were taken in especial flight to Islamabad. Mir hazar Khan Bajarani, federal education minister was also involved in this case.

The current Long March is meant to restore judiciary. Some people are claiming the current movement is meant to destablize the govt which is totally wrong. BB clearly said that she would restore chief justice Chaudhry Iftikhar …

In fact those people are trying to destabilize the present govt who are not restoring Justice Iftikhar as promised by BB. Our rulers need judge like …

The nation is asking that what in inside in .. that President of Pakistan Asif Zardari is bent upon to ruin the judiciary and also system only for him?.

I am sorry that some Sindhi columnists are also trying to give impression that Long March is in fact movement of Nawaz Sharif who wants to destablize PPP govt. This is wrong as Long March has been launched by lawyers for restoration of judiciary and people of Sindh must support the restoration of judiciary as promised by BB as it will benefit people of all provinces in long run.
