Hello everyone! I hope I still have some readers. I’ve been so MIA lately, (on here at least… I’m on Facebook constantly) xP
Recently I’ve been trying to tidy up my online presence. First and foremost: my online portfolios.
The one that I’ve been meaning to switch to, and update the most is my Behance one. I made it almost a year ago. After researching for find decent free online portfolio hosts, I came across Behance. First of all, there is no limit to how much you can upload, and it’s still free. Major plus! I also liked it because it separated uploads into “projects”. What I like to keep track of is the process that each project takes. Behance really gives me a chance to do that. I feel that if I put it up, it’ll show people that I do take a creative process, and that I am more than willing to work with criticism and be flexible for changes.
It took me a while to finally delete, but I eventually canceled my account with Carbonmade, and also deleted my DeviantArt hosted portfolio. I saw these as good tools, but it wasn’t exactly what I needed. They were also extremely out of date, and the lack of space made it hard for me to decide which of my projects to include. Most importantly though, having so many online accounts gets hectic, and it’s hard for me to keep so many updated at a time. These two offered me a good start, but I made a choice to stick with Behance. 🙂
Switching tracks…
I can’t believe it’s almost been a year since college graduation @_@
Like.. holy moly! My head is spinning just thinking about it. When I look back over this year, I see a lot of things that I’ve accomplished, and a lot that I still need to do.
Last night I had a hard time going to sleep because I couldn’t stop thinking about all of the things I want to do this coming year and things that I still need to do. I see a new fresh start in the fall again. I find it funny how I still see myself working on a school schedule. Maybe it’s cause I’m still in a college town? Haha, yeah, that’s most likely.
Adjusting to post-college life has been hard/strange. I am glad that I got to stick around in Eugene for another year, and as of right now, it looks like I’ll be here again for another year.
I’m still looking out for more opportunities, and trying my best to take advantage of it.
Maybe when graduation rolls around at the UofO again, I’ll do another post about my fantastic 1st year out of college. So much has happened! I can’t sit here and type it all right now… so I’ll leave it for later.
Anyway, thanks for reading!
