DADU: A media workshop was held at Dadu by the Participatory Development Institute on Thursday at a local hotel. Addressing on the occasion, the speakers including, PID Program Officer, Ishaq Soomro and others said that the province of Sindh has been deprived of the 70 crore rupees of Production Bonus by the petroleum companies and the Federal Government.
They added that an agreement was made between the Federal Government and Sindh Government and according to that agreement Federal Government and the private petroleum companies were bound to give Production Bonus to the Sindh Government because the minerals are found in huge quantity from the different areas of the province of Sindh but from last thirty years that bonus has not been given to the province of Sindh. The speakers further said that in this regard not any elected representative has raised his voice in the Assembly, due to which the rights of Sindh are being snatched. On the occasion, the speakers demanded of the Federal Government to provide the Production Bonus to the Sindh Government.
