For me, I played this piece in high school, and I really liked it cause it was a lot different compared to any other… “nice” piece that we’ve played before. The time signatures were complex and the feelings that the notes and rhythms could bring out were touching.
Anyways, here is something that I whipped up for a starting point.
I actually think it’s funny to think back about this piece because I remember our band director telling us to close our eyes and say what we imagined when we listened to this song… and being from Hawaii, none of us actually know/have experienced actual autumn, so most of us described beach scenes… everything BESIDES the changing of leaves xD
Now that I have been in Oregon for 4 falls, I know what it’s like, so maybe my interpretation would be different, but thinking back to that certain time would be interesting to keep exploring, and adding in
