Yesterday I had an extra day off, so I decided to go to the San Diego Botanic Garden right here in Encinitas! Not sure if you knew, but on the first Tuesday of every month it is free to San Diego residents, and only $2 for parking. I’m a fan of cheap thrills (if it hasn’t been apparent in my last few posts), so I seized the opportunity.
It was very relaxing to just walk through the gardens and take my time on my solo outing. There were a lot of different paths you could take, which was nice so that I wouldn’t have to follow around a big group of people for very long. I also wouldn’t feel as bad stopping to take a picture whenever I felt like it.
