I thought that I would be done with monthly challenges after Inktober, but a friend of mine showed me this prompt list for the Happy Lettering Challenge. At first I was about to not do it because I wanted a small break from having a monthly project. However, after thinking about it I realized that writing/drawing a word a day would be much easier than trying to do a drawing from a prompt. I also always wanted an excuse to practice hand lettering, ever since meeting San Diego Letters over a year ago. Anyway, I am already on Day 3, and it’s been pretty great so far. It’s pretty interesting to see how creative people can get with just a word. You can see my daily progress on my Instagram account.
